This year we are excited to be able to offer more ways to get involved. Your church can participate, as always, by providing baby bottles to be filled with change, or by providing “virtual” bottles with instructions to give online for those who prefer a no-contact method of giving. Your church could even offer both. You can learn about both methods below.
Virtual Bottle Campaign
1. Distribute the Bulletin Insert Baby Bottle. We will provide your church with a paper baby bottle to insert into your bulletin on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12, 2024 with instructions to give online.
2. Provide Baby Bottle Campaign Information Online. Keep your congregation informed about the Campaign by posting information at your virtual services, in your newsletters, social media, email, etc. We will provide promotional materials for you to use.
3. Make an Announcement on June 9th to your congregation letting them know that the Campaign ends on Father’s Day, June 16, 2024, and remind them to participate.
Physical Bottle Campaign
1. Set up a table. Have volunteers give out baby bottles (one per family please) after service on Mother’s Day Sunday, May 12, 2024. Some churches have been very successful passing out bottles during service as the pastor introduces the concept.
2. Provide Baby Bottle Campaign Information Online. Keep your congregation informed about the Campaign by posting information at your virtual services, in your newsletters, social media, email, etc. We will provide promotional materials for you to use.
3. Make an Announcement on June 9th in church to return bottles on Father’s Day, June 16th, 2024.
4. Have a drop off location at your church for returned bottles. Ex: baby bassinette, box, etc. We will pick up or you may drop off filled bottles to the center. Please call us if you have an questions at 704-664-4673.
